Description
For the listeners who prefer a more conventional astitics but crave the performance of an 800 Series Diamond loudspeaker, the 804 D4 is the perfect choice. Its new reverse warp cabinet follows the proven design principles but its larger siblings
This is not just another speaker range. Each new generation of 800 Series Diamond is a landmark event for Bowers and Wilkins. This is our benchmark, our icon: the most advanced range of loudspeakers we know how to make.
For us, the 800 Series Diamond is everything we know and everything we are.
Reverse wrap cabinet
When it came to desigining the ideal shpae for the 800 Series Diamond cabinet, we did a U-turn. Quite literally. Our cabinets are formed from one continious curve, backed by a spine of solid aluminuim, so sound dispersion is improved and cabinet reflection is reduced.
Aluminium plinth
A great speaker needs a rock solid foundation. The new 804 D4 uses a downwards firing Flowport exiting on to a solid aluminium plinth complete with a stell constrained layer damping sheet, which controles unwanted resonance it also has greatly upgrdaed spiked for maximum stability
